Broccoli Slaw

Produces 4 Servings

 

6 oz                      Store bought Broccoli Slaw (or julienne your own broccoli stalks                                    and carrots)      

3 tbsp                  Olive oil

5 cloves              Garlic

1/2                       Lemon (juiced)

1/4 cup               Parsley   

To taste               Salt 

 

 

Directions: 

  1. If preparing your own broccoli stalks be sure to peel away the hard outter layer and julienne the tender juicy center of the stalk

  2. Finely chop your garlic

  3. Sautee the garlic in a skillet with olive oil until it starts to brown slightly

  4. Put the broccoli slaw, parsley, lemon, salt and sauteed garlic with the olive oil, into a food processor, or ninja express chop.

  5. Blend the vegetables until all ingredients are mixed, but don't over blend. Maintain a chunky texture.

  6. Serve with extra parsley and lemon as a garnish.
